I downloaded the record on only sampling a few songs. When I finally started playing the whole thing, I was really taken aback. This album grabs you from the very beginning bass thumps in the first song, En Tus Ojos (listen to it now!). As this song washes over your ears, you know you're dealing with something very different. Forget about great Mexican music or kind of classification such as "latino." This is great music, period! I'm checking out all of Natalia La Fourcade's records. Sadly, as of this time, you can download "Gusano," but you can't play it. Apple requires you to get authorization to play it each time and tells you your computer is authorized to play it, but it then tells you you are not authorized to play it. Too bad.

these songs are addictive, especially Casa. It keeps playing in my mind all the time. the music video is so creative and has the right energy levels. finally - viva la mexico !

I came across this album when I randomly ended up watching MTV Latino one night (and I don't speak a word of Spanish/Mexican) and the video for Ser Humano was on, and it hooked me instantly. I quickly purchased the album, and it is full of catchy hooks, wonderful melodies and just great songwriting. To this day, I have no idea what these songs are about...but they're really worth checking out. I find myself singing along to the lyrics even though I don't know how to speak the language, I can't help myself - It's that good. Particular standouts: Casa, Ser Humano, and O Pato.

Worth Trying them out! You wont regret it. It's a very good album all around, every song has a unique sound to it. You will never be bored.
