Greg Dulli is one of, if not the most talented musicians of our day. His music is a haunting and soulful expression of life's desperation. Nothing like taunting death to make one feel alive.

Greg Dulli is in great voice on this set. It's quite possibly the best he's ever sounded. The AW cover he throws in toward the end only makes it sweeter.

I'm flying home in the very near future, from Kuwait, and I saw this and knew I had to have it to fly with. In the 15 minutes I've been listening to it, I emailed "Tell everyone" to my wife, wrote my buddy, who I was talking with about Shawn Smith yesturday, that Shawn sings on a cover of George Harrison's "Isn't It a Pity". It's freaking so good. Buy it and tell everyone to listen to it! Why Is this Just a download only though? I want to stuff everyone's stocking with it.

I never get tired of listening to Dulli. I bought this yesterday. What a great way to ease into the morning with a cup of Joe and Dulli's haunting, soulful music resonating throughout the house. All songs are great but my personal favorites on this album are Candy Cane Crawl and Front Street.
  • Greg Dulli takes a break from saving rock n' roll to stretch a different side craft.

This album is an acoustic-only performance from the great Greg Dulli. Without the volume, Dulli's songs are reinvented as beautiful ballads that still resonate as much as the originals.
  • Fantastic!

The above reviewers are correct. This is an artist that is consistently overlooked in the cannons of rock music. Soulful, emotional and beautiful....
  • Mr. Live

Anyone who as ever seen Dulli live knows what it means. "Are you ready to make party?" He goes from ballad to rock opera in the blink of an eye. This album is a great spread of his talent and showmanship. Turn off the lights, pour the red wine and listen closely.

I have been hoping and waiting for this to be released. Greg posted a few of these on his MySpace page months ago as a teaser. Stripped down and beautiful. This really does catch Dulli at his best.

The reviewer before me is correct. Greg doesn't get enough respect. Those of us who know, KNOW. Greg is the only artist from the early 90's that doesn't live in the past. He moves forward and creates music that makes the world a bit more interesting to live in. To see Greg live is to see a real rock star. He lets it all come out with no regrets. No fireworks, no dancers and no lipsync. Just him, a cigarette, a drink and the music. Oh, how could I forget the genius musicians he surrounds himself with. If you want your music to make you feel ( good, bad, or used it matters not) then download this album. And pay for it, please. He is releasing this on his own label. He has earned it. Show the man some respect.
  • Finally an "official" live recording!!!

Greg Dulli is the Rodney Dangerfield of the 90's... he gets no respect! The truth of the matter is Greg Dulli is one of the most engaging, influential and haunting voices of this generation. From the Afghan Whigs... to The Twilight Singers.. to The Gutter Twins and now the first official live album. His voice is in fine form throughout and Front Street is an absolute masterpiece live.
