Henry Mancini brought the big band sound to the age of television with this album. I never get tired of listening to it. A classic.

The best TV soundtrack ever produced. If you listen carefully, you can hear the harmonics that are used today in TV sound tracks. A classic
Great album for beginners!

I have this album on vinyl, and I never get tired of listening to it, especially when doing work around the house on the weekends. Having it on my iPod is great so I can also listen to it in my car. It opened me to other jazz titles, but this will always be my first, and favorite.
A Must for Jazz Lovers!!

This soundtrack is legendary!!! It was created as back ground music for a TV detective show of the same name back in the LATE 50's and is still one of the best jazz albums of all time. Henry Mancini was one of the most talented composers of the century. His discology is vast and amazing. If you don't know it, find it. You will be amazed.
