    I am BIG fan of the Rippingtons and especially Steve Reid. He is such a virtuoso of percussion and rhythm, no matter the genre. It's super cool to hear him play in this context. I can't stop listening to this album!!!

    Correct me if I'm wrong, and it may be a bit confusing, but there are two Steve Reids. Both drummer/percusionist. The one I know plays with the Rippingtons, and has done some albums on his own like Passion in Paradise. Listening to samples of Bamboo Forest sounds like the Steve who did Passion in Paridise, not the Steve whos biography is listed with this album.
