His albums continuously demonstrate a willingness to craft originality (like the pixies, radiohead, etc...). It seems rare nowadays that artists are able to conquer such a feat unscathed by limitations on artistic freedoms (corporate preferences), but McCombs makes the effort and gets away with it masterfully. I just hope that he gets recognized for it sooner rather than later for our sake.

um awesome album dude. "dont vote" is my favorite. WHole album is great - you will love it. its like all slick and crystalline, but sort of understated. like just boom hello this the song - sounds nice dont it?

Talk about music that talks to people yet wasn't intended to...Cass has no idea the impact his music has on people who have not much to live for.
I like that he writes the music purely as expression. No ego, no agenda, no message, no manipulation. Just music to enjoy and share.
