It is rare that you find a gem of this caliber which truly moves and touches you. I spent a week tracking down the name and artists to the song cloudbank that i heard on radio23.org from a podcast titled The Scenic Route episode 7. I was simply amazed and mezmerized by the sheer beauty of the song. It was like when i discovered Sigur Ros - and i just new it was something unique. That all said I i am a heavy metal rocker! - i listen to the likes of Tool, Mastodon, Irepress, dredg, and Baroness. I am especially into instrumental bands such as Pelican. To me this is vaguely instrumental because meaning and lyrical content is a backdrop. Just prooves certain sounds can draw in even the most non would- be listener.

Beautiful music that is perfect for walks in the park, riding in the car, or studying for finals (Julianna Barwick got me through them too!). Highly recommended, Sanguine was my favorite album of last year and this ep only improves on her formula of mysterious/angelic beats. The songs are more varied than Sanguine with some stand outs, particularly Bode and Anjos.
