Seven Second Surgery is a lot better but Can't Keep A Secret is still okay. There's a few songs on there that I like but the rest is just meh.

so, a lot of us liked SSS better than CKAS. but let's face it. everybody needs some dance music in their lives. (along with the catchy, meaningful lyrics in seven second surgery) second surgery and can't keep a secret are the perfect match for your music needs :P

Oh no! I love Faber Drive. I used to be a big fan of theirs, but I'm very disappointed in this album. Where is the good stuff, like "When I'm With You" and "Tongue Tied"? This is so upseting.

Rarely do you see a band drop off as much as Faber Drive did between the release of their first and second album. It's clear that the main talent in the band was in the members who departed prior to the writing and recording of "Can't Keep A Secret". I guess the secret they can't keep is that they are a One Album Wonder. Booooo!
  • So Mainstream...

It's not even funny. Faber Drive has lost their sound. (the one that helped build their fan base in the first place) It's really too bad. "You and I Tonight" is the only song on here that sounds remotely like their old stuff. Buy that one if you want but not much else to see here...
  • Awful.

Compaired to their first album, Seven Second Surgery, this album is terrible. I loved Faber Drive for their great lyrics and ballads about things with meaning. Things that people can relate to, such as When I'm With You, Sleepless Nights (Never Let Her Go), and Second Chance. After listening to the first two songs, I regretted purchasing this album. G-Get Up And Dance? Really? Nobody can emotionally relate to that. What happened? Their new techno theme really made me lose a lot of respect for them and they really sold out. Long story short, this album is a total let-down. The only good song on this album is You And I Tonight... I don't understand at all how this album has a four and a half star rating... Go buy Seven Second Surgery. Don't waste your time on this one.

I agree with mostly everyone else. Faber Drive's Seven Second Surgery was an amazing album, I'm still in love with it. This is definitely different. Different sound, different mood. G-Get Up And Dance and Forever are probably the best on here. As well as You And I Tonight. I miss the old Faber Drive.
