Maze f. Frankie Beverly is timeless music! It never gets old. I didn't appreciate it when I was younger, but this is what I remember my Mama playing back in the day. I've seen them in concert twice, and they do an amazing show! If you haven't seen them live, it's a once in a lifetime experience!

I understand that Maze has been around for a long time, but his music can get boring. He had about three good hits but after that he is just boring. I don't buy music because he has been around for a while, i buy because its interesting it has a good beat etc etc.
  • Very Good Maze Album!

This is a very good Maze album! Tracks 3, 4 & 5 are the highlights of the album. 'What goes up' and 'The morning After' are standouts. These songs are written to showcase a dichotomy of right and wrong and good and bad, mixed to soulful beats. The storytelling is great, in the form of their other timeless hit 'Joy and Pain'. Classic Maze songs. The rest of the album is pretty good, showcasing mid 90's funk, but concentrate on tracks 3, 4 & 5.
