The last album I bought by Third World was Sense of Purpose back in the late 80's and have always been a bit hesistant to purchase any of their later ones because bottom line, I just didn't like them. And this one is no exception. I could have done without the collaberations and just have listened to Third Worlds lead and backing vocals which to me rivals any out there. With the exception of Spirit Lives, which I think is a very good song, the rest are just mundane and average. Third World is and will be my favorite reggae artist (I own all their albums predating 1990) but this album lacks what I like to hear from them. So for that I give it just an "ok" rating.
