I can't bring myself to hate this album out of respect for the fact that Rome's reincarnation of the band really performs the old material really well, but the majority of this record is filled with sappy pop-tinged love songs and that is just not Sublime no matter how you slice it. Hopefully this just amounts to some growing pains since the original band was gone for more than a decade, and we'll get a more focused album next go-around. Overall, it's not terrible, but just not what I was hoping for.

Bradley is legend. That is all…. Now I hate to compare the two so I'm not. Rome is a very talented artist and I'm glad Sublime with Rome is keeping the legend going. Stop hating out there… Of course no one can replace Bradley, but that doesn't mean Rome is not an artist too!

... and I got it! To all you Rome haters, go back and put your cassettes and CDs of the old school Sublime in and chill out!! Or enjoy your 16th birthday since most of you weren't even alive to see them live!! This album has been long over due and to Sublime with Rome I thank you for the long lost Sublime dub sound I've been missing since '96. Bradley RIP and I will always miss you and will always be a fan of the first Sublime (have every single LP and EP and underground stuff you can find), and I know he would be proud of Bud and Eric for their recent efforts to keep their music and sound alive. Music has gone in a different direction since Bradley has passed and Sublime with Rome has hit in on the head with this album! This sound is 3 of the 3 original members, so remember that!! I'm waiting for another release, make it happen boys!! This album kicks butt!!
