this album is great and he also did the soundtrack for palo alto and its the best soundtrack of all time it make the movie 10 times better. His music is amazing listen to it !!!

Actually just discovered Blood Orange, I'm in love with the whole sound and how great of a lyricist/musician Dev is. Kanye should pay attention to his genius; and should interrupt any one who wins an award over him

Had the pleasure of seeing Blood Orange open for Florence + The Machine in Houston and was surprised I had never heard of him before! He sounds amazing live and is truly talented in his own right! Thank you, Florence!!!!

That should be the first thing people utter after getting the full onslaught of this amazingly well constructed piece of audible gold. Blood Orange has meticulously picked shreds of influences to formulate an album conscientous of its roots. The songs are so well written that it would be short of ludicrous to not appreciate the beauty of their structure. Put in some bare bones production work and voila! True elbow grease in audible crack form. This album is argubaly one of the best to come out in many moons. Don't sell yourself short while skimming through iTunes garbage. This is an amazing piece of work and will undoubtedly keep you scouring for more similar pieces. Good luck though. Blood Orange has carved a niche that seems to come with splinters, leaving naysayers ill-equipped to tread on water as pristine as this.
