So glad my Gulf Coast friend Matt Hoggatt recieved this great recognition from Jimmy Buffett! Great song & congrats to both of you!

This song is great and it puts a smile on my face! I feel like Matt when I am constantly begging Jimmy to get Cincinnati a Landshark Bar and Grill or a Margaritaville restaurant. Jimmy please listen to me- we NEED one here in the home town of your original Parrotheads!! It would also help me out to meet you in person since I have meeting you in person on my bucket list. I've always been a parrothead who thinks JB is a gift from god...and this just confirms it. I've heard this song a few times on margaritavilleonline radio, and when I heard today that it would be available on iTunes...I vowed to download it as soon as I got home from work. And I did. I played this song for my 15 year old daughter is is a JB fan, albeit not as big as her mom...but she thought this was one of the coolest things she's ever heard. We all know JB was a cool, go-to, down to earth guy ...and now we have MORE proof. You rock, Jimmy. FINS UP!!

We all know JB is a cool dude, but I think this is one of the coolest things he has ever done. Whether or not Matt is talented can be argued (and there's no doubt it will be), but he won the contest and we have to respect that decision. It's a catchy, fun tune that we all feel like we could have written, but the difference is that we didn't. It's awesome the JB is letting Matt live his dream of being a star for now and I have no problem giving this man $1.29 to help his start his career. Because we all know, and I'm sure he was told, "You'll never work in dis buisness again."
