From another bass player, this music sounds great! It has a unique energy anybody can identify with. If you're a bass player like me, you'll be picking up your instrument and playing along with every track.

Oh my.... just saw Julian @ Catalina JazzTrax, an he is a performer in the likes of Tisdale. Puts on a great show with his band, people were on there feet after the first song, an by the end of the show his version of "Rock Steady" had them in the isles danceing. This is a great album to add to your collection.

Very nice album, and yes it did remind me of Mr. Tisdale and wow this young man is one Bad Brother in his own right. Would love to see him Live, because seen Mr. Tisdale twice and he was a great showman, Do The Thing JV

I'm sure his inspiration comes from the late great Wayman Tisdale. It's refreshing to hear the similar sounds and brings back memories of the power forward pluckin' away at the bass. I commend you Julian Vaughn for doing Wayman right. Almost eerie in a way. -js
