I think Rick's voice is as good as it was in his RCA days if a bit deeper. I just think he's missing an opportunity for a big comeback. His last orignal pop CD, Keep It Turned On was the best of his career, but then swerved with an uneven covers album and a few singles right in the heart of the Rick Roll period where everyone was interested again, at least in the US. I hope he puts together a brilliantly slick new album soon. The acoustic is just lovely but his voice is best over a dance beat for sure.
