I’ve had this on CD for years. I only wish this show had been video recorded. "The Lady and Her Music" is one of the most engaging live recordings that I’ve ever heard. Lena weaves her way through the songs of her life and career, taking you on a musical journey that documents the not only the highs but the difficulties and challenges faced through her lifetime and career in a segregated music and entertainment industry. Lena recounts stories that make you laugh. Despite the challenges she faced in the music industry and the Hollywood community, her indomitable spirit rises as she belts out this amazing collection of songs. Her music and voice are truly a national treasure. This is a MUST HAVE!!!!!
