Jut love this album and his style. I was not a fan of the last project but Bilal is definitely back and hitting with real music that is seriously lacking radio play. This album certainly explores the creative and abstract side of his musical artistry and is welcome in today's remixed and over-sampled environment. I would urge anyone to purchase and the outcome will result in pure enjoyment. I nearly wake up singing beats and verses. Go Bilal.

Okay, I'm going to put myself on blast! I was one of those fans who kept googling; Bilal, new album, for years! Then, low & behold, he drops two albums! LOL I had the opportunity to see Bilal at the Motorco in Durham, NC in March! Let me just say, SPECTACULAR!! My old self was at the stage just loving the moment!! This album is INCREDIBLE!! The vibe is funky, jazzy & melodic with pretty mesmerizing instrumentation!! Thank you so much for staying true to your fans providing us with amazing music!!

Bilal delivered a piece of art that has revived my hope for QUALITY MUSIC! And I just don't mean lyrically; the live instruments used for the beats and his soulful delivery on "Slipping Away" gives me chills!
Overall, I like EVERY song! In my top 5 favorite album list.
