FINAL FANTASY XI (Original Soundtrack)

I played this game for 9 years 2003-2012, the game is amazing, the soundtrack suits every single area in the game perfectly, The composers for Final Fantasy always come through with an astonishing soundtrack, every time I hear these songs I can close my eyes and remember the zone and monsters you fight, it definitely makes me miss playing the game, I now pays FFXIV and it too has a stellar collection of songs.

I remember taking my first step outside, listening to the Gustarberg BGM, engaging my first monster, and hearing the battle theme. The game was simply so beautiful... mere words cannot describe it. Listening to any track of this soundtrack relives every memory I have of that world, and brings a tear to my eye. I just wish that they had the battle theme music/BGMs from the three add-ons they did near the end of the FFXI era. The battle BGM vs. the crystal in the first add-on adventure. THAT was epic.

I love final fantasy xi and I was bored so I'm going on iTunes on my iPod and I type in the game name and I find this I never would have thought you would put all the main music on here haha it's funny how there's even the battle music .

You do not have to be an avid Final Fantasy XI MMORPG player to revel in this beautifully crafted soundtrack. Square Enix the makers of the Final Fantasy game franchise have long been awarded for their excellence in finding the best musicians to craft the audio within the Final Fantasy games. The Final Fantasy XI soundtrack is no exception. This is a worthy soundtrack to crank up the volume.

I haven't played this game in years because i switched over to world of warcraft with my cousin. After listening to like the taru places like windust and such I really want to play again. I can't forget the fun I had playing this game.

The quality of this soundtrack is sooo... absolutely amazing!!! Tanioka, Mizuta, and Uematsu totaly rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I play this game a lot and I have to admit the music is great! Oh, and for those who said earlier about some missing songs, they weren't on the original release of FFXI. There are also Original Soundtracks for each expansion pack, search around :)

Just hearing this beautiful album takes me back to the good ol' days. Havent played in 4 years, but listening is really making me think about quiting WoW and going back home to Windurst!. Oh well, great music! Only one thing missing from this album, The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah music, loved that place so much and the music was just enchanting!

I quit playing this game a couple years back so that I could focus on other priorities in my life. This soundtrack is excellent and even though I don't play the game anymore, I still listen to it.
