I must admit that I have been somewhat lukewarm to a lot of Ronald Isley's recent albums with the Isley Brothers. I had grown weary of the whole Mr. Biggs persona and wanted to hear more mature R&B music from one of music's greatest singers (and a man well into his 60s which is one of the reasons why Ronald Isley's 2003 tragically underappreciated collaboration with Burt Bacharach "Here I Am" was such a welcome and very pleasant surprise). Isley's 2010 solo album "Mr. I" marked somewhat of a return to the classic Isley Brother's sound and, outside of the Bacharach album, was the best recording involving Ron Isley since the "Eternal" album in 2001. Mr. Biggs' mack daddy persona was still present but less than on "Baby Makin' Music" and "Body Kiss"). The new song "DInner and a Movie" is even better. Mr. Biggs is nowhere to be found and Isley is doing what he does best - singing a classically romantic song. The song is a throwback to the 70's Isley Brothers while not sounding out of place on today's radio. It is not out of place alongside of "Hello It's Me" or "For the Love of You" and deserves to be a big hit.

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the biggest ronald isley fans. Love any and everything this man makes! Sounds like another hit to me. Ill be in stores purchasing the next album :)

I cosider myself the biggest fan of the Isleys and this new tune is sounding like the old classic Isleys melodies from the old school summer days. It looks like we will be hearing this song through out the summer. I love this song.
