Stp and Chester Bennington was better the Scott and will all ways be LP is the greatest band and the best lead singer for stone pilots it. And if your reading this be expecting some change in your pocket when I get this album btw this is truly stp with Chester Bennington #chesterandstpforlife plus lp would have made a great album with stp

I think everything goes perfectly together. They still should be called STP even with jeff gutt. It’s not just Scott who makes stp, its the whole band and they’re all a part of it. Yeah it doesn’t sound the same but I think this was perfect, it’s too bad both had to go too soon

As a fan this brings me to tears. The obvious of both men taking their lives, but this music is so good. He could have taken over, and would have kept the spirit of the songs.

There’s so many reviews saying that this “sounds like their early material”. This EP sounds nothing like Core or Purple. It sounds like a continuation of the last album...safe, easy-listening, basic dad rock. Such a shame

Don't listen to these fools Chester. Gray Daze may have used this aspect of his voice but I imagine he was stepping a little bit out of his comfort zone in this attempt, and I think this album totally rocks! Every song hits hard, and my favorite STP of old were the fast paced songs anyway, so this was right up my alley. I'm working on sixty years old (all my contemporaries are still stuck on AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd...etc) and love all rock music of all decades and would personally like to thank Mr Bennington for bringing us something that allows that excellent musical quality of 'Scott's band' to be continued (Scott we love you forever) and enjoyed. I can hear the old STP in there, can't you haters hear it too? Move on and enjoy, or go listen to the mediocre horse-hockey that constitutes about half of the 'new alt-rock' that is playing on the radio these days, all the bands that are trying to be Coldplay but don't have the talent or the electric guitars in some cases. STP FOREVER!
