This compilation is unique because it's Bowie's own selection of his personal favorites. There's an interview floating around where he explains why he chose each song, and the inspiration behind each piece. This is a worthwhile purchase just for the "Time Will Crawl" remix. Bowie said that he would have liked to have remixed more of his uninspiring work from the 1980's. If only he were still with us, maybe that would have been a subsequent release.
