Man, this is got some great hooks. I bought this on a whim, just by 30 sec sampling clips and a bit of research about Eddie. Great rhythm section! And Kevin55 is right! "Fooltish" has to be one of the first songs in my life where I got stuffed so far in a pocket of groove that I could not get out of it...splendid track. Worth the buy and great price

I was a soul and jazz and funk music lover growing . In certain albums the genres meshed perfectly because the mix of players had those chops and the time was right. This record from 1970 was one of those perfect grooves and remains so today... Also, hard to believe but EDDIE HARRIS WAS POPULAR ! Perhaps because you can DANCE to his music , and ya should!!! Also check out "is it in" . Cornell DUPREE is tha man on funksoul guitar.

Thank you itunes. I searched many an album bin for this album. This was my first Eddie Harris album. I'm on cloud nine now. Really? and Fooltish brought me back to my college days on campus at UW when I really got into Eddie Harris.
