How could ANYONE not be hooked by the voice, and obvious influence, of Mark King ?!! No longer is he playing on a "level" playing field. Level 42 may be all but a pleasant memory, but who cares when Mark's still around. Really, it should be Mark King, featuring Hardage. As always with Mark, beautiful and rhythmic. Check out Mark's solo effort as well.
Mark King Better Than Ever

Most might know Mark King as the lead singer to the former group, Level 42. He has done his own solo work, including a stellar but underrated "One Man" in 1999. It's great to see that his golden voice hasn't faded from the world. Keep it up Mr. King!

It has come to pass
When at last, Mr. King sings out away from the shadows
Under the glow of a new, warmer day
With something more akin to say, in a voice that still weighs
Lighter and brighter in this troubled day
Yes, to want to see
How to recreate a piece of history
Eyes that want to walk a new path
Something different, here at last...
Finally, and gratefully a song with bite
Late in the iTunes-guided night,
Thank you, and on the rhythm goes
Talent and desire still finds a way to shine...
