I first became acquainted with Jeff Oster's work with his True album, especially the song "Saturn Calling"
Since then I have been an avid fan of Jeff's work. If you love a beautiful horn, soulful and mellow, then you will enjoy this.

From start to finish this CD is absolutely the best horn music I have ever heard. The piece, Final Approach, was what got me, but it was the entire album that reeled me in. Every song on this CD is phenomenally written, created and produced. This music captivates you and you'll want to hit "repeat" ...several times.. Happy Rhodes work on this is sensational, to say the least, too. Her incredible talents are so nicely captured here. Not to be undermined, Will Ackerman's production is first rate of course, but Jeff's dreaming and imagining this music of his life, and finally putting it out there.. is just awesome.
