I know that they made a movie which I never heard of also it was horrible She's only sings in Lockdown and Push The Button that's pretty much is it so I bought those songs only By the way iTunes has to take down the background Because this album has already been five years ago so iTunes would you please takeoff the background it’s already old. This is kind of a huge disappointment tho. What a let down. Also the songs have to be $0.99 because these are not worth it

This was a unique piece of work. Phenomenal sound and feel. DARK WATER is my favorite. And yeah... the first song sounds kinda porny :)

People, this so a score for a movie, not a band album! Stop the complaining and enjoy the many talents Amy has to share with the world! People like her only come around when pigs fly

I love the haunting lyrics and music but when people want to hear a sample you need to place her voice in tot sample more. Long musical intros don't work for a sale.

  • Not a solo album, per se, but...

... still fantastic. A deep, dark plunge into a steamy pool of differing musical styles that come together to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
  • Amy Lee is a musician, not just a singer

The intent of this album was not to solely showcase vocals, but show fans another side of her talent. Everything she had been working on leading up to this record, were scores/compositions. Amy Lee's collaboration with Dave Eggar was to show fans Amy, the composer. If you're looking for Evanescence then buy Evanescence. This is Amy Lee.
  • A soundtrack, NOT a solo album

This isn't full of Amy's powerhouse voice and rockin guitars like most people wanted. But that's the point. It's a movie soundtrack. How would you hear the actors if she was singing in every song? She had a director asking for specific feelings and sounds, and she provided. They're great songs, and the 3 true songs are gorgeous, but its not an Amy album--it's a War Story soundtrack. Don't judge it for what it's not.
  • Great.

I see a lot of reviews calling this an "album" when it is actually a soundtrack. That is why it is all instrumentals as some have pointed out. Maybe people should do some actual research before buying something and just assuming that it's going to be her normal sound.
  • Great but ... All the instrumentals?!

The songs where Amy Leeway actually sings are awesome! Funky, catchy, and melodic! They actually remind me a little of Nine Inch Nails except with Amy Lee on vocals. I think this would be a great project, except like 75% of the album is instrumentals! And as someone mentioned before, it's more like Dave Duggar occasionally featuring Amy Lee. I just don't get why they did that on Amy Lee's SOLO album.
