This is an album that will take some time to experience. But it is well worth the journey. As There Are Flowers is my favorite discovery on this album. I could write and write about how amazing this group is, and how sublime this album, but find out for yourself!

"Reincarnations" shows a direct line from Sam Barber to today's young composers, sung expertly by Seraphic Fire. A must-have for anyone interested in contemporary American music.

Fascinating to listen to the transformation of the art form, from the late 19th century to the late 20th century. The beauty and clarity of sound Patrick Dupré Quigley evokes from the artists of Seraphic Fire is nothing short of magical. The cd production itself and the way this music is captured is impeccable. Ear candy!!
