We just saw this fabulous group at a local concert in Reno. I rushed home to download this music. as a mariachi lover, I am in heaven. I will be eagerly awaitng a chance to see them again and purchase their next album.

This band and particular group of singers come from a rich history and tradition in soul and latin sounds. I have heard them live a few times in NYC and Brooklyn. I am so excited to now get to buy the songs. The incomparable Mireya Ramos and the immensely gifted Shae Fiol stun a crowd with complex, lush arrangements and writing ability. In addition to their phenomenal group of talented women, their voices….ooooooh. The record is music for the Soul.
It reminds me of the Buena Vista Social Club in its undeniable feeling of Laissez faire and latin ease.
An album worth listening to - again and again.

It's not just because I mixed this record that I love it. It's because it made me love Mariachi Music and Tradition. Band founder Mireya Ramos' Mariachi father has successfully passed it down while her Latin music connoisseur mother has expanded Mireya's range into the world of hidden Latin American gems of her era. Add to this Band Co-Director and soul/R&B songbird Shae Fiol's modern pop influences and you have an album that is just beginning to scratch the surface of the possibilities that lie in this rich fertile musical ground, ready to grow out of its authentic roots to feed and inspire a new generation of Mariachi lovers.
