Annoying "jungle sounds"

This could have been a great album but the decision to overwhelm the listener with "jungle sounds" spoiled it for me. I can't sit through it. I play their similarly themed "Echoes of Egypt" album over and over, however.

As long as you enjoy the background sound effects of calling birds of the rainforest, you'll enjoy this CD. The music is the usual Arkenstone... GREAT!

I have recently discovered Diane after having a love affair with David's music over the past 20 years. I recently purchased David's "Spirit of The Rainforest" and so was captivated by the fact that Diane has her own "Spirit(s) of The Rainforest" ! The two are so similar, and were in fact released on the very same day, that I can't help but be suspicious... Listen and see! You'll hear the same jungle sounds on both collections, and rhythms especially noticable on David's "Path of the Jaguar" and Diane's "Eyes of the Jaguar". WOW! I like 'em both; don't yet know if I'll purchase this one.
