I hate it that people DEFEND this guy for making this. I would defend Weird Al if this was a parody, BUT IT'S NOT, it's replacing the lyrics with hurtful INSULTS to the song. Weird Al can't find meaning in music, only humor.

Dear lord people. Learn to take a joke. Not only is Al not being offensive to Nirvana, the band thought it was a great idea. Al contacted Kurt Cobain to ask and he thought the idea was hilarious. Just because a song is parodied, doesn't mean the song is bad. So settle down, watch the video, and enjoy the laughter.

Okay, let me get this straight. I love Nirvana. They're amazing, and so is Smells Like Teen Spirit. And I love Yankovic, and this song is great. Cobain killed himself in1994, 2 year AFTER this was released. I think this video is extremely funny. One of my favorite music videos of all time. I love both songs, and both videos. So shut up and enjoy.

Just because you like Nirvana doesn't mean that you need to hate this song. Besides, what he says is true. In Smells Like Teen Spirit, you can't understand what they are saying. And the title doesn't make sense. What does, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" mean? Maybe they explain it in the song, but you can't understand it. And Weird Al compliments Nirvana in the song. He says, "well we sure beat grazing cattle." lolz

You just had to be dumb enough to make Nirvana's claim to fame look bad? Or do you have something better to do? (title here)! Nirvana is still alive even though Kurt's dead. It is.
But other than the fact that you made Nirvana look bad and lost an entire star off of 5 stars, it was funny (not by much).

This is one of weird al's best parodies ever!! and to all the people who say it's an insult to Kurt; Kurt was depressed and suicidal until he heard that weird al wanted to do a parody of this song! Kurt agreed to it, and loved it!
