A Gift of Love

I was looking for only 2 songs but after listening to some other songs I bought the whole album. Love it.

It's amazing as always! If you're a huge Bette fan, you'll love it. Actually, even if you aren't a fan you'll love it! ;-)

Not one disappointing track on this fabulous list of Bette Midler classics. A true fans compilation. And the price is a steal. Truly, "A gift of Love". Enjoy.

It’s nice to see songs left off her hits compilations finally get their due and find themselves remastered and placed here. I understand the leaving off choice material because of lack of space but in my mind that usually warrants a two disc anthology. Instead of a hits rehash this themed compilation based on ballads searches some, not all, her back catalog. There is some room here to feature cuts as far back as "Bette Midler,” “Superstar” is a deserving track and “Thighs And Whispers” like her past hits compilations isn’t represented at all. I get the desire for remastering her back catalog and for the sake of cohesion tracks from the recently released “It’s The Girls” are here. Nothing from her Columbia songbook projects and “Bathhouse Betty” are here and the omission of theses albums tell me it’s time a comprehensive anthology is warranted. We’ll forgive all the other repackages as long as the anthology is comprehensive and not one hit missed, not one album overlooked. It’s time now.

Even though many of these songs may already be in your collection, you have never hear them like this. The entire album is wonderful, each and every track. The songs sound new, crisp, clean and fresh and Bette Midler is a terrific artist. Do not hesitate to but this re-mastered album. It’s like hearing them for the first time all over again! Highest praise!

as a huge Bette fan i wish they would’ve remastered more of her mainstream “greatest hits”. so many amazing songs omitted from this collection. a little disappointed because id love to have remastered versions of all the classic hits… and some Gypsy… come on :P

This is an outstanding collection of her ballads and love songs. These are true gems and Bette makes them shine so brightly. She is truly amazing!

Please remaster ALL the early Bette Midler albums! I would even buy them on CD! Seeing they remasterd one of my all time favorite Bette songs, Just Let Me Follow Behind, is reason enough for me to buy this! Simply Divine!
