I have loved Paula Cole's songs, "I Don't Want To Wait," "Amen," & "Where Have All The Cowboys Gone>" for many many, years. So when I came across Paula Cole's Greatest Hits browsing through iTunes one day in the past year or so, I downloaded it in seconds for my still-workable iPod classic which I love to the moon & back. I am a big CD collector as a singer-songwriter at heart myself. Anyway, owning this CD was the best musical treat for myself I ever puchased on iTunes. I can listen to all of these songs over & over again and never get sick of it. I always tell people, "good music is good music no matter what genre it is." This album is timless and I'll recommend any music lover to give this Greatest Hit project a listen or two. So worth the money indeed! :-)

A great collection coming from one of the most under-rated female artists of our time. Highly recommend this collection of hits.

No body mentioned what a great song "Me" is. Sounds a lot like "I don't want to wait" but sums up how women, especially, beat ourselves up. Yet we are the ones with the power... Is she playing live anywhere?? I would love to see her...

A waste of a beautiful throaty voice. I just love her but these song choices she / or her manager are making are awful. It appears she's being sabaotaged in order to keep her from becoming the next Natalie Merchant. Too bad.
  • Earth-shattering voice both live and inside the studio

I did not give Paula the full credit of an absolute musician until I had the amazing opportunity to see her live and understand her craft. Paula Cole is one of the most moving, prolific, unabashed songwriters and performers ever. Experiencing the eclectic nature of the spectrum that is her sound is a must.

This album is phenomenal! It combines the best of Paula Cole's three albums and is my new favorite cd. If you love this music, go see her in concert, she will blow your mind.

she might not have been the most influentual singer-songwriter of the 90's, but she sure made her mark. i don't want to wait was the theme song to the best teen drama on tv, dawsons creek. plus, east oceanside is a fictional town based on mine and paula's hometown of rockport, massachusetts. whats not to love?
  • I have been waiting and 'I don't want to wait' anymore!!

So glad to add three more songs to my Paula collection...the 3 new tracks are Paula lite for the newbie. 'Happy Home' & 'I am so ordinary' have such poignant lyrics. I do like Harbinger the most of all her albums. My favorite passionate Paula song is 'Billy Joe', a non-album track on the 'I believe in Love' single. She is touring in 07...she is an absolute MUST see in concert...riveting!!! She sounds better than any recording, which is so rare in this age of studio faked music.
  • BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

One of the best singer/songwriters of today, this collection is a must-have for anyone who craves subtance in their music. Great music all-around on this collection though I had hoped to see my personal fave "The Ladder" (from her "Harbinger" album) included here. As for the iTunes review, there's a reason why we haven't heard from her lately. Apparently, her record company lost faith in her ability to sell millions of records. Typical corporate mentality... they don't know how (or don't care) to market the product, so they dump the artist. Buy this album to send a message that gross profits aren't the only measure of an artist's worth!
