This is probably my favorite Chuck CD. I have played this a gazillion times!! It never gets old. I grew up listening to Go Go and will be listening to it until I'm old and can't dance no more. Put my feet will be tapping and head nodding. Thank u Chuck for giving the Washington, DC Metro Area Go Go music to call our own. RIP we will keep ur legacy alive and crankin'!

Ok listen up. I had the opportunity to see Chuck Brown & his crew at the Hampton Jazz Festival 6/09. To all my i-tunes people, this 70 plus year old man ain't nothin' but the truth. He took the young, middle aged and old crowd completely in! If you have never experienced the King of Go-Go, put chuck Brown on your list of people to see live. Chuck brown turned the Hampton VA Colliseum out and I encourage everyone from the tri-state area to check for Chuck Brown. Go-Go is what's happenin'! Trust me, the DC crowd was in the house at the colliseum and they support Chuck Brown 150%.
  • Serious Big Band Sound on Chameleon!

I didn't buy the entire album; only the track "Chameleon". I haven't heard this song in years, but it came to mind when I was listening to some jazz. Chuck Brown's band is SERIOUSLY GOOD, and should not be underestimated! Every time I listen to the track above, I find myself rocking to it EVERY TIME. Highly recommended....

I have this cd and it's a nice compilation of his classics. Chuck is the best for life. My Grandma used to boogie to Chuck back in the day! And I'm over 30 years old!!! Also, I'd like to thank i-tunes for adding more go-go. Every time I check, there seems to be something new. FYI, Suttle Thoughts is on i-tunes. : )

I recently saw Chuck at Tacoma Station in DC and he was phenomenal.....don't let the age fool you, Chuck can still make the party go on like its 1999. Something about him and his music that makes my hips dip and my backbone slip

It's about time. Now, I hate being greedy and I understand that we can't expect the world to change overnight, but if we can get some classic Trouble Funk along with some R.E. (as previously mentioned), Northeast Groovers and some of the "new school" groups, I personally would be more then pleased. Progress is a wonderful thing.....
