-Udo has one of the ultimate heavy metal voices…there is none like him. Anywhere. -Awesome songs: Metal Heart, Midnight Mover, Living for Tonight -Screaming For A Lovebite: not really a heavy metal song…in 1985 I tended to fast forward and flip my cassette, but now that I'm not always looking for a hardcore metal song, I'm OK with it

With a name like Udo Dirkschneider you just know it's gotta be good. Maybe one of the ugliest men ever to gagrle with gravel and jump on stage ready to kick you right in the face with some head pounding rock. This album will get you out of your chair snapping your dome up and down in remebrance of thos curly locks you had back in the Reagan days.
  • Great 80's metal album!

Accept was definitely firing on all cylinders when they recorded this album. Saw the tour in support of this album and they were awesome. If you like Balls to the Wall you'll like this one. This one has stood the test of time. Not a bad track on the whole thing.

These guys ripped it up. Listen to this album today and it still holds up.This is their best work next to Balls to the wall no question. This band in the top 5 best "REAL" metal bands of the 80's. Don't get fooled by big hair.....
  • Pop?

Why is this album listed under the Pop genre? The only time I ever heard any songs from this album on the radio was in 1985, right after its release. I heard the title track on the weekly radio show "Powercuts." (Back then, the closest thing to heavy metal that the radio stations would play was Def Leppard or Van Halen.) I bought it on cassette the following day. Mainly listened to Side 1, though. Side 2 wasn't my favorite. I'd hit rewind as soon as "Screaming For A Love-Bite" started. The title track is still one of my favorite Accept songs. (Obviously, "Balls to the Wall" is their greatest.) But POP? (c'mon)
  • One of the bests!

I like a lot Accept, this album sounds perfectly, it has it all. The band is on top here. I like all the work of UDO with the band and this is, I don´t know if the better, but when you remember the sound of Accept this is it. Is a little more mature than Balls to wall for me and the music although more complex, keep sounding heavier than hell. Masters!!!
  • Another masterpiece from the 80's

Great music, solid songs, more commercial than the earlier Accept, but...hey - what was more unexpectedly commercial than the Priest's '86 Turbo album and they back then were somewhat of the main trendsetters in heavy metal! Great band, great metal and the metal heart album cover - one of the best ever!
  • 1 of the top 20 metal albums!!

Arguably one of the greatest metal albums EVER. Screaming/razor sharp guitars, Udo's unique metal vocal style. Songs that ooze attitude. Thumping bass lines from Baltes. Dual guitar attack, Pounding driving drums....OH MY GOD. This is top 20 because there are so many great songs, Metal Heart-Great live opener, the spinning video of Midnight Mover, driving bass of Up To The Limit(crank it!!), the metal commercialism of Screaming For A Love Bite, the pause then in your face of Living For Tonite. ALL KILLER- NO FILLER!!!
