The unprecedented evolution of an artist that is Annie Lennox. From The Eurythmics “Who’s that Girl” to her show stopping performance at the 2015 Grammy’s with Hozier with “Take me to Church/ I Put a Spell on You” A career not based on spectacle or celebrity, but true humbled talent.

This is a great album, nothing like this was out at the time with such a great vocalist; They did a great job on this album. & it made me feel cool too when I listened to it at the time(High school), I think it holds up great and the additional song are an extra bonus. Next: Savage

Many highlights, the hits not being them. "There Must Be an Angel" is a vocal show off, but weird. "I Love You Like a Ball and Chain" is somewhat chaotic. "Adrian" is the top highlight. It outshines all of the other songs on this album. "It's Alright" is a beautiful love song. Other than that, I like the addition of "Hello I Love You".
  • Not THAT great!

This album had a couple good songs, in fact "It's Alright" is one of my all time Eurythmics favourites, but the popularity of this album is mostly due to the huge fan base they had just built up with their first two brilliant albums "Sweet Dreams" and "Touch" both of which are ten times better than this or anything after it. Eurythmics are one of my three fav bands but this album is the beginning of their long slide downhill to doing that la la la old-lady pop crap that eventually became Annie's solo career.

For some one who wasn't evenborn in the 80's or alive for that matter, Be Yourself Tonight is my Favorite Eurythmics Album. Although i have only listened to three songs, (Would I lie to you, There Must be an Angel, It's alright) I enjoyed this album becaause of thse songs. They are classic, pretty, and wonderful. If you just have a couple pounds on your hand, my recomendation song for this is There Must be an Angel. I love that song and I've loved since i was a kid. This is the best Eurythmics Album ever. This is Annie Lennox's Diva. This is The beatle's Abbey Road. This isn't music... it's a masterpiece.

I was a huge fan of Eurythmics back in the 80's and I've always loved Annie and Dave. There's nobody like them anymore. If your new to these guys, I would suggest one of their other albums but you really can't go wrong with this one as this was their most successful commercial effort. All their albums are great but this one comes with some many mixes and remasters it is a crazy good deal. You won't be sorry purchasing this one.
