I really like his music a lot and I am more into emo and ambiant music than folk but this album really opened my eyes showed me a whole new genre of music

King has really come into his own here. Musically, he's clearly pulling from McCartney and Dave Carter (whose song, Frank to Valentino is ably covered), but these songs resonate with his own voice and his own style, too. Go, Maria! is a serious pop hit in the making, as is Something New. There are also a lot of great "folkie" tunes (Mr. Hooper's Hardware Store) and Down and Low may just become a cult classic with the "undergound" set. Finally, You Stole My Heart is well worth the wait at the end of the disk! Highly recommended!
