In the 70's, these guys were BIG. They had hit after hit, mostly with ballad songs that had long titles. England Dan is really Dan Seals (brother of Jim Seals from "Seals & Crofts") who later went on to become extremely successful as a solo country singer with numerous number 1 country singles (such as "Meet Me In Montana" with Marie Osmand; "Three Time Loser"; "L.O.A."; "Everything That Glitters Is Not Gold"; etc.). John Ford Coley went on to be an actor, writer, musician, and continues to tour. But while they were together during the 70's, ED&JFC had a string of great albums with great songs with great arrangements winning platinum, double platinum and gold records. One of my all time favorite groups.
