For anyone who likes to listen to country, hard rock, "new wave" grunge, Celtic, Euro-pop, Classical, Bluegrass, etc... If you like listening to a variety of music, chances are you will like Donna. Embarrassed to say for years I was a "closet fan" of Donna's music. I agree with fans that urge others to check out her other albums. With all due respect.. I don't see Donna as a genius or even progressive artist. She's not "progressive" in the sense of moving radically in any direction. Think it's because she's always been where she's needed to be-and that's pretty close to center. She has an uncanny ability to connect with her fan base and can make any LISTENER feel like it's " just us." Even when singing some introspective and sensitive song, She's never depressing. I'd never attempt to push any of her albums on anyone though. Ya just can't throw pearls before swine. After all, Donna wouldn't be Donna, if she became a Madonna. Thanks Again Donna!
  • good follow-up to previous donna lewis albums!

People should quit talking about her one "big" (radio) song, and start talking about "Blue Planet", "Be Still" and THIS record. Because they're ALL excellent!

Before I left on my trip I decided to download a couple of new songs and Donna Lewis was one of them. I listened to "Shout" and "Kick Inside" and were great songs to hear along the way. They both are very similar in a way that they made me feel very melancolish while being so far away. Overall I truly enjoyed listening to her music, very soothing...
  • Lovely surprise... can't stop listening to it

I just happened to stumble upon this album. Ironically I bought it the same week I bought Leona Lewis and of the two I've played this one over and over and over. It's really great chill music. I love "you to me" and "Pink Dress" is edgy with a cool guitar riff in it. Definitely glad I stumbled upon this album... so worth the money. I'm looking forward to hearing more from her.
  • Simply Beautiful, will not disappoint!

One of the best albums I have purchased in recent years. Just when you think your about to hear a song that is not as good as the previous, you don't, that's what makes this album so good. Very electronicy! Reminds me of Madonna's Ray of Light album. If you like smooth and at times hypnotic electronic bliss coupled with one of the most beautiful female voices around, definitely pick this one up. You will not be disappointed.

I remember in the 90's Donna Lewis won the mark for "I Love You Always Forever" getting played on the radio for over a million times. I have been a fan of hers since then. Loving every album, 4 Albums in just over a Decade, Thats quite a lot. This new album you can tell has been through a lot of fine tuning and fantastic polished detail, making it the perfect collection of songs that you can just press play and listen from start to finish. A sound that all around everyone will enjoy. Shout, Shut the Sun Out, Obsession, and the lovely ending chant to You to Me, are fantastic! Jood Job Donna!
  • Wow! This is what she's been up to!

You can absolutely tell the progression from "I Love You Always Forever," but the key here is progression. The sound is fantastic and if you're a fan of "Now In A Minute," you'll love this CD to see where Donna is at today. Supporting her wholeheartedly!
