A Unique Talent

Donna Lewis is a beautiful song crafter, and really unique. She has a sound that is distinctly hers. I could see how she could easily be dismissed as too cutesy with her breathy, girly voice and sentimental lyrics. But for those who do that, you are missing out on lush originality, clever soundscapes, and precisely sculpted works that are simply beautiful.
I am so glad she is still making art. Their are many moments on this album that are simply gorgeous. Thank you Donna!

"you to me" could be the best track since her hit " i love you... " some others are interesting and fresh, but the other half are just so boring, she needs a better album to return strongly

Donna Lewis may only be known primarily for her worldwide success debut single "I Love You Always Forever", but her albums are beautiful, poignant dream pop at its finest. Soothing vocals, introspective lyrics and haunting melodies make up this record, and In the Pink continues Donna's tradition of gorgeous synth-filled music; the bonus number "2008 Version" of her first smash single is particularly interesting to compare to its original mix.
