Very fine produced album in the Conniff tradition. My daughter thinks it is "old Fashion". Her dad has a keener ear to appreciate the arrangements and the vocals from a group that knew what they were doing; a leader who knew what he was doing; arrangements that are always pleasant to listen to. Dated? Yes. Only in the fact that now these tunes bring into memory "those yesterday memories". For my ears.......pleasant to listen to; lyrics pure and understandable. In all....a good musical happening.

THIS IS ONE ALBUM THAT I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN. I WAS SOOOOO YOUNG WHEN I FIRST HEARD IT FROM MY AUNT WHO USED THIS ALBUM FOR OUR AFTERNOON NAP. I REMEMBER I WILL CLOSE MY EYES PRETENDING I WAS SLEEPING BUT ACTUALLY IMAGINING MYSELF IN A HOT AIR BALLOON WHILE LISTENING TO "UP, UP AND AWAY". I HEARD THESE SONGS FOR COUNTLESS TIMES BUT NEVER WAS A TIME THAT I HATED IT. I HATED THAT I NEEDED TO TAKE A NAP BUT LOVED THE SONGS! SO GLAD I FOUND THE ALBUM AGAIN. THOSE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN THEY USED TO MAKE REAL MUSIC! THANKS FOR BRINGING THEM ALL BACK ONCE AGAIN.
