Jeff Johnson follows up the haunting Standing Still with this beautiful release. The usual superlatives apply here—Brian Dunning's tasteful flute work, Jeff's evocative piano, and subtle Cello create a space of peace and tranquil contemplation. Standouts include Of The Father's Love Begotten, Watch and Pray, and the pensive Tour Atour. But the album should be enjoyed as a whole, as it is a standout from an artist who consistently creates standout albums in a field full of average music.
