    Jeff Johnson, Brian Dunning, Wendy Goodwin, and their colleagues have given us a wonderful Christmas gift . . . Under the Wonder Sky. I must confess that I have already opened this gift for myself, and I love it, though I am saving my listening pleasure for the approaching Advent and Christmas season. Nine years ago, Johnson and Dunning and associates produced my favorite Christmas instrumental CD: A Quiet Knowing Christmas. This collection of "celtic" music has filled my home for almost a decade. Now these marvelous musicians have done it again. Under the Wonder Sky contains eleven songs. Nine are classic carols; two are original recordings. All of them will draw you in to the true spirit of Christmas. The combination of instruments offers and enticing, almost a haunting sense of wonder and delight. Johnson and Dunning's music is especially helpful for those of us who need moments of restful peace during the business of the Christmas season. Though I've bought this album for myself, I plan to give it to friends and family. I can think of no better way to help people celebrate Christmas. So, do yourself a favor, open this gift. And then give it away to others.
