sapient: one of the most talented individuals ive ever stumbled across who never fails to impress. his thoughtful lyrics, unique flow and smooth sampling and producing make this debut album probably the best work of art ive ever found. and yes i say work of art not just album because thats really what this cd is. beautifully crafted from all perspectives, start to finish. respect

This is a great album, and though most of the music Sapient touches is transformed into gifts from a talented man, this album shines extra bright. Being from the Midwest my allegiance should fall to midwestern hip hop, but when travelling outside of my geographical location, we Find Sandpeople in the North West between Portland and Seattle, and running at the front of the pack is Sapient, a gifted lyricist, producer, and writer able to travel from one genre to another. Way to go Sap, can't wait for the next one.

This Guy is amazing, funny how people overlook Portland when it comes to hip-hop, but I have to say that this stuff is way better than any of that mainstream or Gangsta Crap that comes from LA. Finally music that we could relate too....
  • Awesome... No more to say.

This is from the hands down best beat maker and all around rapper in Sandpeople. There are 27 tracks and each one destroys the next getting better ever time. All together I've listened to DBSR and Sapients songs over 50 time for each song. If you have 10 dollars or 20, It really doesn't matter this is the best rap album I've ever heard. I hope that Sapient reads this and stops doing beats for Sandpeople to make another album or release an old one that has Overdose on it.
  • another masterpiece from a member of sandpeople
