Dopest instrumental album yet. Sapient seems to me to be the best artist out here! For the independent Hip Hop scene from his production to his all around talent with music he is by far the most advanced and hardest working man in the underground scene. Having greats on his instrumentals such as Slug, Cage, Eyedea, Grouch, Luckyiam, Aesop Rock, LMNO, Grayskul, Grieves, Macklemore, Poetic Death, Pigeon Jon, Soulcrate Music to creating an entire album with Luckyiam of Living Legends what more could you ask for? I also heard that a singer from a rather famous indie band by the name of Leighton Antelman (Lydia) may even be recording some stuff on some Sapient instrumentals. I give this album 5 out of 5 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes that bass for hour trunk style sound ! -Anthony

To start off I'm going to have to put this: WARNING! This mostly an instrumental tape! There are very few tracks with him actually spittin' rhymes. Now with that out of the way I can get to the review. This album is legit! It shows Sape's many forms of production styles, and it's not overdone. There were times I forgot that this was an instrumental tape and I kept waiting for him to start spittin', but it never happened lol. If you are a fan of Sapient, his crew Sandpeople, production based tapes, or Hip Hop then I urge you to check this out. 9/10 My favorite tracks (But all of them are great): Trifle With Me (instrumental track with him just doing the hook) Many One (instrumental) Aged Branches (instrumental) Place For One (him spittin' the whole way)
