When You're Strange (Songs from the Motion Picture) [Deluxe Version]

Well, I think as his cousin, I have a good right to say that he is doing excellent in his career, except for his money issues, of course. I have always looked up to him and am also an actor (actress), myself. (Years ago, I got his autograph, but that was before finding out that I am his cousin) We haven't hung out yet, but I do plan on it, especially after finding out that I am related to him as a cousin on my (adoptive) mother's side and on my blood-father's side. So either way, I'm part of his extended family and just want to congratulate him on doing so well! Man, it sounds like I made this about me. Oops, my bad. My whole intention on this review was to just let you all know that I believe that he has come very far and exuberant in his acting and singing. ~Samantha

Amazing entertainment from some amazing artists, Jim you remain in a class by yourself. You are missed.

This one of the greatest documentaries of the doors, however, the deluxe version should have also included bonus tracks of Jim's spoken poetry from "An American Prayer". This is one of jim's last wishes was to be taken seriously as a poet, so why not provide the sale of "An American Prayer" Poetry Album on Itunes?

In order to get the few socalled unreleased tracks you have to buy the whole album which I have already got all the same tracks.

I got to see this movie at Bannaroo and it was a great experience. Buy it ASAP

This was on PBS last Wednesday as American Masters . I find it hard to believe the other Doors guys signed off on this as the the last word and anti-Oliver Stone its without a proper begining and end . Morrison was very articulate , sharp and together in the Circus interviews after the Miami incident. Also without Marianne Faithful interviewed about the heroin dealer Count in Paris its just simply an unfinished documentary . I did enjoy how that acting bit Morrison did , was weaved into the movie . I just listened to Break on through from Isle of Wight off a bootleg vs the one on this CD Kreigers first guitar licks were added in and then Manzareks is turned way down and then the end is lopped off , the feedback is digitally removed and applause is added in . Densmores drums are immaculate . Hey Doors guys first a snoop dogg remix and now this brutal digital surgery , what next a Shrek movie with the Doors ? Is accuracy of any value . BTW The Isle of Wight track of , When the music is over is the best Kreiger Doors guitar work of all time .

I'm probably the biggest Johnny Depp fan in Wisconsin and once again he did not disappoint. That's not even an option with him. The Doors rock. Jim Morrison is true icon. I'm going to be converting this to mp3 so I can listen to Johnny as I fall asleep. Great job loverboy :)

If you are a true Doors and jim Morrison fan, this is simply fantastic! If you have left a bad review, please do not even listen to Jim. You are not worth his ingenious wisdom. Plus, this is the soundtrack to the movie first premiered April 9 so it is technically not an album. Please, for the sake of good music, know your stuff before you write and tell people false information. For every other potential buyer, worth every penny and cannot wait for the movie to be released! Jim lives through the music. Peace.
