I got into M.H. maybe 1 year ago with his "I wish it would rain" and been hooked ever since. I heard this song 2 days ago and now I can't stop listening to it. M.H. is an amazing artist!

I absolutely LOVE Mayer Hawthorne. His swag, his podcasts that he does via Stones Throw are amazing. Such great vintage RNB that you can find on those podcasts that you won't hear anywhere else. His album "A Strange Arrangement" gets so much play in my office/car/home and I even turned my folks who love their oldies onto him. I was stoked to see his new single "I Need You" and I LOVE the Hypnotized sample in it. Such a classy throwback to music when music wasn't about overproduction and it was played by actual instruments. Great job Mayer, I look forward to much more!

This is so crazy... I just discovered this artist and his amazingly unique style, and the very DAY that I buy A Strange Arrangement, he drops this single at midnight. Haven't heard a song by him that I would rate under 5 stars yet, and this track would get 6 if I could. What an amazing combination of ballad singing, rhythm and blues, and hip hop. There's just so much soul in it! This track and artist are SERIOUSLY dope, consider both of them highly recommended.
