This soundtrack helped the movie to a great degree. The otherworldly sounds capture the journey of our two humans as they wander, displaced from their own homes in America, through the wilds of Mexico trying to avoid and yet understand the extraterrestrial life that was itself displaced and forced to live in a world not its own. A triumph.

The soundtrack made the movie! Candles was my favorite song last year and I think the most played song on my ipod. The whole album plays smooth and is great for chilling out. Jon is a freaking stud....Edwards and Coldplay chose wisely with this guy!

John Hopkins has made a fantastic movie soundtrack, and it is very soothing electronica. It is truly unique in a world on movie soundtracks, and beautiful above all of them. Monsters Theme nearly killed me, it struck such a chord in my heart. It may be the most peaceful peace of music I have every heard. I have not yet seen the film, but definitely will, if only just for this soundtrack.

One of the best movies of last year and a great soundtrack to go with it. I seek out great music to work to and I'm wearing this one out real quick. Great filmmakers know how to choose great music. I hope Gareth Edwards brings Jon Hopkins along on every movie adventure he goes on!

Listen to "Campfire" and you'll learn how incredibly talented Jon Hopkins truly is. Even though the movie has not received favorable reviews, I will still search high and low for a copy just to hear the beautiful tracks in their proper context.
