Sounds like garbage that would never have gotten a record deal if Trent Reznor weren’t pushing it from behind
Trent Reznor is god.

Classic industrial sounds from Reznor, songs are layered beautifully! Mariqueen's vocals give this album awesome feel, very distinc from NIN. If you like layered electronic this album is for you. For us industrial lovers, this album is a no brainer. Love to see how Reznors style has continued to evlove over the years...
Disappointed

At first I thought I disliked this album because I have been listening to NIN since the early 90s and, well, I am old and nostalgic for the old days. But really, this sounds like recycled late NIN with female vocals, and the vocals do not work at all. She sounds completely out of place. The whole thing is just off. I was annoyed when NIN announced tour dates- didn't Trent make a big deal about retiring NIN? But now I understand and am thankful, hoping he won't put out more of this rubbish.
Genius As Usual!!

Trent Reznor couldn't make bad music if he tried!!! This album sounds better than anything out there today!! Portisehead???? Massive Attack??? What a joke!!! Pretty Hate Machine is still a more relevant album than anything those two bands could ever put out!!
Love this..

All NIN left behind

Waterdown tracks from the fragile at best. Nothing new. Nothing exciting. Purchase a portishead or massive attack album instead.
Great album

This is not Nine Inch Nails. Yes, You can tell Trent wrote and played most of the music, but this is supposed to be something different. If you want a new NIN album, just wait. That's coming soon. But if you want to hear Trent and his wife Mariqueen (along with longtime collaborator Atticus Ross) do what they love and make some amazing music, then get this album.
