Excellent album - she has a great voice - well backed up and some very strong tunes. ""Who stole my Radio and Breakin' Out" are outstanding. a must for any collection of female blues artists.

Of course it's more soul than blues; the title is The Soul Truth. Shemekia's voice and delivery blow me away, and "Who Stole My Radio?" is one of the catchiest tunes of the year.

Shemekia's fourth outing is far less blues and a lot more soul. It's a good cd, but nothing like her previous releases. For me it missed the mark.
