Saw Ian and the Rant Band in DC the other day and it was an excellent rock and roll show. We were really impressed. Lead guitarist was incredible. I'm looking up songs now that I remembered from the show. Go see them!! Tom

Every song on this album is good - every one of them. Ian Hunter has the classic sound of pure rock and roll. Dandy and Fingers Crossed are my highlights yet it all sounds good. Highly recommend.

Saw Ian and the Rants in Hartford last night...great show, high energy and non stop 2 hours....The songs from Fingers Crossed were remarkable live, which is why I'm here on itunes today !!! Check him out if he comes to your town, and pick this CD up. It belongs in your library...You will not be disappointed...

Most people know his classic tunes from Mott the Hoople and his early solo career but his recent solo waorks are outstanding and Fingers Crossed is no exception. Backed by his Rant Band here, they are tight and completely spot on (sound quality is A+). His tribute to Bowie "Dandy" received initial buzz but there are many other excellent tracks on this latest effort. After several listens I can't find one song I don't thoroughly enjoy or hit the next button. Standed in Reality, You Can't live in the Past, That's When Trouble Starts, Fingers Crossed and Long Time and highlights for me (but I can't find a clunker in this collection). Rockers, ballads at little county with Dylan thrown in for good measure. Worth the $9.99 and then some! Keep it going Ian. Brilliant.
