I must have a different version of this album than the one the first two reviews cover. This is an excellent album. The recording quality equals any soundboard recording I’ve heard. Ian is in great voice and the band is right on. I would recommend this title to a newcomer as well as a fan. Great stuff!
  • Great tracks but poor sound quality

The sound quality of this album is poor to fair at best but it does bring back some memories. Perhaps the producers wanted to replicate the original 8 track sound systems of the 70's. I hope ITunes will be able to get a better version of Cleveland Rocks in the future.

This is the perfect live album by the amazingly talented Ian Hunter. There is the perfect mix of classics and lesser known (but still excellent) tracks from his entire career. The music from the days of Mott still sounds just as good, and there is no indication that Ian is anything less then he was thirty years ago. I am seeing him in Philly in three weeks and listening to any of these songs just remind me of what an amazing musician I will have the opportunity to listen too. Hope you never stop Ian

Nuthin' but bad "live' versions of otherwise great songs. This was an impulse purchase and I learned my lesson -- always listen first before purchasing. Oh well...
