Better, but just not enough.

Better than When The Smoke Clears...but the weak link is still the vocals. Just can't compare to the old Hinder; just the way it is. There are a couple tracks I like well enough on this album, but the vocals just don't do it for me.
Noooo

Longtime fan, just can’t get behind them without Austin no matter how much I try. Hate to be a hater but I just can’t dig it like I used to.
Stereotypical Vocals

The vocals don’t sound very unique & sound overproduced. Love the guitar work, but the vocalist lacks any feeling/passion. When Austin sang, you felt it, not to mention he also had a unique tone. Please find a different singer with passion or bring Austin back.
Terrible vocals

They lost that power in the vocals when Austin left.

Hinder is back with their new singer Marshall Dutton and it sounds great. This album is a little bit heavier than the last one. Let's be real here, previous lead frontman Austin Winkler isn't coming back anytime soon, so let's stop whining and giving this album a 1 out of 5 just because of the new singer. The whole thing is stupid, nobody can make Winkler come back into the band, we have to except the new changes.
Yuck

It took me some time to get used to the change, but wow! I love this album, so I went back and listened to the previous 2 releases and they are great as well! Love the song Too Late!!!! Great stuff!!!!

As someone who listened to both singers (but not avidly), this band sounds different, yeah, but it still holds its own. As a general rule, singers in the higher register who sing hard rock usually get picked on. It's really not as bad as the fans make it out to be.
Just no...

This sounds nothing like Hinder. Will not be purchasing anything further without Austin.
